Does your child have an illness, condition or disability? If so, you may be entitled to increased child benefits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

You need to apply for this supplement through your child benefits fund<\/strong>. This can also be done retroactively. Contact your file manager at Famiris. He or she will forward your application to the Center for Evaluation of Autonomy and Disability<\/a> (CEAH)<\/strong>. This center is responsible for evaluating your child’s condition or disability in Brussels.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

You will receive a letter from the CEAH with information about the evaluation and an application form that you need to return completed<\/strong>. On the form, you will need to indicate the name of the doctor who treats your child<\/strong> (the general practitioner or a specialist). You will also need to specify whether you agree that the CEAH contacts this doctor directly via eHealth to obtain the medical information about your child. The eHealth platform<\/a> is a secure digital system for exchanging health data.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
