Young people in Brussels are entitled to child benefits unconditionally<\/strong> until August of the year they turn 18. For young people with a disability or condition<\/strong> recognized by the Center for Evaluation of Autonomy and Disability (CEAH)<\/a>, this entitlement extends until they reach 21<\/strong>. They can also receive a supplement <\/a>to the child benefits until the age of 21, provided they do not receive a replacement income allowance or integration allowance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

From the age of 21, there is no longer a right to the supplement for children with a disability or condition.\u00a0\u00a0If the young person continues to study after the age of 21<\/strong>, there may still be a right to regular child benefits<\/strong> according to the conditions for students<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
