A young person with a disability or condition recognized by the Center for Evaluation of Autonomy and Disability (CEAH) is unconditionally entitled to family allowances until the age of 21<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

If your child is 18 or older and works or receives social benefits<\/a>, this might be a reason to lose the supplement for a child with a condition (increased family allowance)<\/strong>. Exception: working in a sheltered workshop, social workshop, or an adapted work company (a customized work company) does not affect your family allowances.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The right to the supplement for a child with a condition expires once your child turns 21.
