Increase in Brussels child benefit rates in May 2024

In May 2024, Brussels child benefits increase by 2% due to indexation. Famiris will pay the May child benefits on 3 June 2024. If you are entitled to Brussels child benefit, you will automatically receive the increased amount from June. You do not need to do anything.
Which amounts are concerned?
All Brussels child benefit rates increase by 2%:
- maternity grant and adoption grant;
- basic child benefit rates;
- supplements: supplement for orphans, social supplement, supplement for children with a disability;
- school bonus;
- income limits for entitlement to a social supplement.
What is an indexation?
An indexation adjusts child benefit to the increased cost of living.
