How long does it take to process my application for a supplement for my child with a disability?
The processing time for your application can vary. A doctor from the Center for Evaluation of Autonomy and Disability (CEAH) needs to assess the impact of your child’s condition or disability. As a parent, you will receive questionnaires to complete, and you may also need to visit a CEAH doctor with your child.
To avoid delays, it is important to provide all requested information and documents promptly.
Once Famiris receives the decision from the CEAH doctor, they will determine if your child is eligible for a supplement. The supplement is paid monthly along with your child benefits, starting from the month following the date mentioned in the CEAH’s decision.
