What happens to the child benefits if my child stops studying during the academic year?
If your child has prematurely ended their studies, they must register as a job seeker with Actiris. Even if your child already has a job lined up, this step is always useful.
Before your child can receive an integration or unemployment benefit, they must always complete a 12-month professional integration period. During this integration period, your child retains the right to child benefits under certain conditions.
You can find more information about the integration or unemployment benefit on the Actiris website.
