My child did not register as a job seeker with Actiris after their studies due to illness. Is my child entitled to child benefits?
Your child is required to register as a job-seeking school leaver with Actiris after their studies. They can then retain the right to child benefits for a maximum of 360 days.
If your child did not register as a job seeker after their studies due to illness, they cannot receive child benefits.
If your child registers with Actiris within 5 working days after their recovery, they can receive child benefits again.
However, the 360-day period starts running from the end of the studies.
