Can I receive both a maternity allowance and an adoption grant at the same time?

In Brussels, you are entitled to a maternity allowance for the birth of a child. If you adopt a child, you can receive an adoption grant.

Within the same family, you cannot receive both the maternity allowance and the adoption grant for the same child.
