Do I receive extra maternity allowance if I am expecting twins?
In the Brussels Region, you receive €1.367,74 maternity allowance for the birth of your first child. From the second child onwards, you receive €621,70. For multiple births, you always receive the highest amount.
If you are expecting twins, you will receive twice the amount you would get for your first child. This also applies to triplets, quadruplets, etc.
