Does the amount of child benefits depend on my child’s age?
Every child entitled to Brussels child benefits receives a basic amount based on their date of birth and age. This right is unconditional until August 31 of the year the child turns 18. Between 18 and 25 years old, there are conditions.
In addition to the basic allowance, you may sometimes receive an additional amount or supplement. This depends on your family situation and your child’s situation.
